I was thrilled when the company president invited me to work on their library campaign, which ran during 2018’s ALA Annual Conference. The campaign message: Libraries must change perceptions to survive. My assignment was to illustrate and design a series of digital ads of various dimensions—static and animated—to convey this message. We wanted the graphics to appeal to the literary minded, thus focused on typography and textures. Below is a gallery of the still ads, followed by a sequence for one of the animations.
